Jupiter 2018/07/20 22:15 UT (2 min) & 23:07 UT (0 min)

Again, the active strong jet stream jeopardized any attempt to run good RGB sequences despite of a seeing forecast of 0,68 arc seconds. Conditions were great when Jupiter crossed the meridian but 5 minutes later the 27 m/s jet ruined everything. I am reporting seeing conditions at the moment of image recording, though. I continued running the RGB sequences expecting an easy jet stream in between but could get only a single reasonable RGB sequence among many. It is called lucky imaging for a good reason.
